Job summary

Angus Council seeks a Depute Head Teacher (Secondary) based at Carnoustie High School, Carnoustie. The post holder will assist and deputise for the Head Teacher, working with the SLT to lead in education, staff, and community relations.

Responsibilities

• Assist and deputise for the Head Teacher in the conduct of the school’s affairs.
• Work closely with the Head Teacher in all aspects of school life and be capable of making decisions in her absence.
• Share responsibility for delivering high-quality education and fostering positive relationships with staff, parents and the wider community.
• Assist with organising, developing and monitoring the curriculum in line with authority policies.
