Job summary

Park Academy in Greater London is seeking a Deputy Head to lead leadership initiatives and support academy growth. The successful candidate will also be available to support at another Park Academy on a regular basis.

Park is an academy of excellence, with an Outstanding rating across areas. The role will involve safeguarding, curriculum leadership, pastoral oversight, and developing strong relationships while driving pupil progress and staff development.

Qualifications

• Experience of and interest in the leadership of Inclusion & SEND
• Successful experience leading an area of improvement
• Delivering CPD and supporting the development of teachers at different levels of experience
• The ability to identify and implement successful safeguarding, inclusion strategies for all pupils and SEND
• Excellent understanding of curriculum and pedagogical issues, including recent developments within the primary phase
• Effective pastoral and behaviour management skills at middle or senior leadership
• The ability to develop excellent relationships
• Understanding of strategies that enable pupils to make excellent progress
