We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and forward-thinking individual to join our team as the Deputy Head of Pharmacy and Clinical Services Manager. In this key leadership position, you will be responsible for providing direction, guidance, and innovation to ensure that our clinical pharmacy services meet the needs of both our patients and clinicians. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clinical pharmacy services are both high quality and cost-effective, aligning them with the objectives of the Trust, national healthcare initiatives, and medicines management strategies.
Main duties of the jobThe post holder will deputise for the Associate Director of Pharmacy, Royal London and Mile End Hospitals (RLH & MEH) and lead on delegated operational functions.
The Deputy Head of Pharmacy and Clinical Services Manager is responsible for leading the development and implementation of clinical pharmacy services across the Royal London and Mile End Hospitals. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring patients receive safe, high quality and clinically effective pharmaceutical care.
The post holder will be responsible for the management of the Clinical Pharmacy Service at RLH&MEH with strategic direction from the Associate Director of Pharmacy in line with the over-arching pharmacy strategy.
