An exciting opportunity has arisen for a DeputyHead of Care (Registered Manager) to join our Nursing and Care Team. This rolewill require the successful candidate to lead andmanage the delivery of high-quality care and support services in compliancewith Care Quality Commission (CQC) and Office for Standards in Education,Childrens Services and Skills (Ofsted) regulations. TheDeputy Head of Care (Registered Manager) will work collaboratively within theNursing Directorate, reporting directly to the Head of Care, to develop andimplement strategies that enhance service delivery while safeguarding thewelfare of children and young people. The post holder will be responsible forfostering a positive environment that promotes the emotional and physicalwell-being of all service users, ensuring that their needs are at the forefrontof service provision.
Youwill be responsible and accountable for leading the organisation in theimplementation, and ongoing monitoring of the National Minimum Standards forChildrens Homes and Care Quality Commission standards. Ensuring that childrenand families are involved in the evaluation and development of changes toservice provision.
With experience ofworking in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, youwill be exceptionally organised with a high-level of attention to detail. Youwill naturally possess excellent inter-personal skills, and an ability toconsult and positively engage with key stakeholders across the organisation.

Leadership and Management
Ensure high standards of care are delivered in line with CQC and Ofsted regulations.
Participate in senior site management rota.
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure the organisation meets all legislative and regulatory requirements, including preparation for inspections by CQC and Ofsted.
Oversee the completion of required documentation and reporting processes to regulatory bodies, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Quality Assurance and Improvement
Develop and implement quality assurance frameworks to monitor, evaluate, and improve the quality of care and support provided.
Address any issues of non-compliance or areas for improvement identified through inspections, complaints, or incident reports.
Safeguarding and Risk Management
Ensure robust safeguarding policies and practices are in place, promoting a safe environment for children and young people.
Staff Development and Training
Identify training needs and ensure all staff receive appropriate training and professional development opportunities.
Budget Management and Resource Allocation
Assist in the development and management of budgets for care services, ensuring effective use of resources to achieve financial sustainability.
Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain effective relationships with children, families, staff, and external stakeholders, promoting open communication and collaboration.
Strategic Development
Contribute to the strategic planning and development of care services in alignment with the organisations objectives and community needs.

Whilst undertaking the duties of the substantively employed role, this post is required to participate in a senior rota cover on site and respond to clinical escalations only in addition to their role.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
Depending on experience£60,085 - £66,901 per annum, inclusive of London weighting
