Job summary

THE PIG-in the Cotswolds, Barnsley is seeking a Deputy Head Housekeeper to support the Head Housekeeper in running the housekeeping team and ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet our high standards.

The role involves leading Room Attendants and Linen Porters, conducting monthly reviews, and maintaining stock and liaising with maintenance. Prior deputy/lead experience is preferred, with 35 hours weekly and a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Deputy Head Housekeeping or within a similar role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Housekeeper by supporting and developing a team of Room Attendants and Linen Porters.
• Set an example, encourage development, and carry out monthly performance reviews.
• Lead the team from the front-line to deliver exceptional standards across all areas of the hotel.
• Oversee daily preparation and cleanliness of all bedrooms and public areas.
• Liaise with the maintenance team and manage linen, deliveries & stock.
