Historic Environment Scotland is seeking a Deputy Events Manager for Stirling Castle. You will organize and oversee events at Stirling Castle, Argyll's Lodging, and related venues, liaising with the Events Manager and catering partners to deliver exceptional service and drive commercial success.
The role involves managing on-site teams, staff rotas, and client relationships, with 35 hours per week across 5 days.
Starting salary: £34,721 pro rata, per year
Contract type: Fixed term for 18 months
Grade: 3
Location: Stirling Castle, Castle Wynd, Stirling FK8 1EJ
Working Hours: 35 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 (including weekends and evenings)

The Deputy Events Manager is responsible for organising events, ensuring excellent service for clients booking Stirling Castle, Argyll's Lodging, or The Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders Museum event spaces for corporate events, weddings, and other events out with the normal visitor experience.
You will play a key role in liaising with the Event Manager, the Central Event Sales Team and the on-site catering partner to deliver an outstanding experience for the client. Together you will deliver for HES an outstanding experience for clients, visitors, enrich local communities and run a successful commercial operation.
