Wotton-underEdge Town Council is seeking a Deputy Estates Manager to help run the council's buildings, green spaces and community facilities. The role deputises for the Estates Manager, coordinates maintenance and events, and supervises staff to ensure spaces are safe, welcoming and well managed.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities/estate management, building maintenance or asset management, with a strong understanding of planned and preventative maintenance.
• Experience supervising staff, overseeing repairs, managing suppliers or supporting community facilities.
• A practical, hands-on approach and confidence working in public-facing environments will help you thrive.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day running of the estate, coordinate maintenance activity, supervise staff and help deliver bookings and events.
• Assist in delivering improvements to assets and facilities while deputising for the Estates Manager as required.
• Ensure public spaces and buildings are safe, welcoming and well managed for residents and users.
