Black Country Healthcare is seeking an experienced and motivated Deputy Emergency Planning Manager within the Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR) Team. The Deputy will work on specific projects to support BHCFT in fulfilling its duties under the Civil Contingencies Act 2004 and NHS England Core Standards for EPRR. The role involves promoting continuous improvement in EPRR arrangements and collaborating with partner organizations to enhance emergency plans and processes. The successful candidate will report to and deputize for the Emergency Planning Manager.
This role entails managing BCHFT’s emergency preparedness, resilience, and response functions daily, and fostering a resilience culture across the Trust. It offers an opportunity to work within a diverse, complex mental health and learning disability hospital and community environment across all operational sites.
