Job summary

William Reed is seeking a Deputy Editor for BeverageDaily in London. You'll shape voice and growth, work with Senior Editor, deliver high-quality content across platforms, and build industry relationships while supporting editorial operations.

You'll identify trends, manage multimedia content including podcasts and events, and deputise for the Senior Editor when needed, helping drive engagement and brand authority.

Qualifications

• Background in digital editorial, journalism or media with a track record of high-quality content creation.
• Strong editorial judgement and ability to spot compelling stories, trends and audience opportunities.
• Capacity to create and edit content across multiple formats and channels.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality editorial content across written, video, audio and digital formats
• Help develop and deliver the editorial agenda, identifying stories and opportunities
• Contribute to multimedia content including podcasts, webinars, broadcasts and event-related programming
• Build and maintain strong relationships with industry contacts, sources and contributors
• Represent the brand at industry events and support content development
• Use audience insights and performance data to inform content strategy and drive engagement
• Support editorial leadership by maintaining high standards and deputising for the Senior Editor
