Oldham Council is seeking a Deputy District Family Help Team Manager to lead a district family help team in the Families First Partnership Programme. The post focuses on delivering high quality family support to children and families, coordinating multi‑agency work, and driving positive outcomes.
You will deputise for the Team Manager, supervise staff, and contribute to recruitment, development and performance management, while modelling the council’s values and strengths-based practice.

Timely and effective family help is central to Families First, and we are implementing our district family help team model. Working within Oldham Council’s Family Help service, you will be an outstanding family worker with strong knowledge of good practice in family help and experience of delivering high-quality targeted family help to children and families including leading multi‑agency teams around the family. You may also have experience of developing and leading a team.
