Job summary

HM Land Registry in Plymouth seeks a Deputy Director to lead Technology Services, owning performance, security and resilience across a large IT estate. You will direct infrastructure, networks, cloud hosting and data storage, while managing a substantial budget and complex supplier arrangements.

You will build and empower a senior management team, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with stakeholders to shape the future of core public sector technology services.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership of large technology teams or portfolios.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale infrastructure programmes.
• Strong cyber security experience in a low risk environment.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and negotiate contracts.

Responsibilities

• Set direction for Technology Services and drive outcomes across security, performance and resilience.
• Lead a management team with clear delegation of responsibilities and development plans.
• Oversee infrastructure, networks, cloud hosting, data centres and workplace platforms.
• Manage a circa £50m budget and complex supplier relationships.
