Job summary

Shuttleworth College is seeking a dedicated Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead to join our safeguarding team. This role involves acting as the central point of contact for safeguarding concerns, managing a level 2 case load, and leading Early Help Assessments to keep students safe and supported.

You will make referrals to Children’s Social Care and other agencies, support vulnerable families, and ensure precise recording of safeguarding information on CPOMS.

Qualifications

• Experience in safeguarding role within a school or relevant agency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with external agencies and internal teams.

Responsibilities
