Job summary

Keys Group in Spalding (Lincolnshire) is seeking a Deputy Manager for a children and young people’s home. You will join a nurturing leadership team delivering high-quality care for up to 6 vulnerable youths, with a mix of long days and admin duties and occasional sleep-in shifts.

The role offers progression, support to gain Level 5 qualifications, and a strong emphasis on staff development within a national organisation.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in a Residential Children’s home at Senior or Deputy level.
• NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People.
• Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures.
• Experience with budgets and rotas.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead the home as part of regional leadership.
• Influence and shape the service using Keys Connect and clinical advisory support.
• Develop staff, oversee day-to-day operations and handover when required.
• Ensure high-quality, child-centered care for up to 6 young people.
