This position requires a registered general nurse with proper qualifications and experience in surgical care. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe patient care while supporting junior staff and collaborating with the SCN. What you will do:
Ward 4B is an elective surgical with several specialties including General Surgery, ENT/MAX. Ward 4B have 10 x level 1 beds and 14 ward level beds. We use an enhanced recovery approach for all our pre and post op patients.
The DCN role will comprise of being accountable for safe and effective care provision within the surgical wards. The post holder will support the SCN to deliver safe and effective care whilst offering senior nursing support and supervision for our junior colleagues
