Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Deputy Manager for Acer Court Care Home in Nottingham. You will support the General Manager to run a compliant, person-centred home, delivering safe, caring and stimulating environments for residents and visitors.

The role requires at least two years in a similar care setting in a leadership position, strong leadership and communication skills, and adaptability. DBS check and UK eligibility proof required.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience in a similar care environment in a management role.
• Excellent leadership and management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities; proficient with IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide inspirational leadership and management to the staff team.
• Ensure medication policies are followed and support reviews of medication administration.
• Monitor resident wellbeing and update care plans as needed.
• Complete monthly audits and quality indicator reports.
• Attend weekly clinical meetings and monitor clinical risk areas.
