The post- holder will support the Lead Cancer Manager in the leadership of the Cancer Services Team and, in line with the national cancer agenda, will provide an approach of positively influencing excellence in patient experience, outcomes, and the delivery of statutory regulatory requirements and targets, within resource constraints

Main duties of the job

The post- holder will provide strong visible leadership across the organisation, by engaging and supporting staff with regards to the cancer agenda and supporting the Lead Cancer Manager in helping to set the strategic direction for cancer provision within the Trust, whilst ensuring alignment with the overall corporate objectives.

The post- holder will deputise for the Lead Cancer Manager when required
