Job summary

Stagecoach Group in Ramsgate is hiring a Shunter/Cleaner to join the Thanet depot team. You will operate at Westwood Garage, with a 39-hour rota and a £13.35 hourly rate, earning about £27,074 per year.

The role involves shunting, cleaning, fuel logging, and assisting with vehicle movements to keep a modern fleet ready for service. Training is provided; benefits include pension, holidays, and travel perks.

Qualifications

• A UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Fuel and oil the fleet.
• Drive (shunt) vehicles safely around the depot and park them correctly.
• Clean the interior and exterior of vehicles, including deep cleans and under-chassis washes.
• Keep premises tidy and hygienic, including washrooms.
• Carry out vehicle changeovers, breakdown support, and collect/deliver vehicles or parts when needed.
• Log fuel and oil usage and complete daily checks on equipment.
• Support the team and contribute to safe, efficient depot operations.
