Job summary

A leading machinery company in Northampton is seeking a Depot Service Engineer to maintain and repair telehandlers and forklifts, ensure compliance with health and safety, and provide technical support to customers. The role demands strong mechanical understanding and excellent communication skills. Candidates should possess NVQ level two or above, a full clean driving licence, and experience in fault finding. Qualifications

• Competent in electrical/hydraulic systems.
• Experienced in fault finding/diagnostics using a Laptop.
• Knowledge of mechanical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and inspect telehandlers and forklifts.
• Repair and diagnose customers' machines in our depot.
• Provide Loler/Puwer inspection certifications.
• Liaise with the service dept for repair costs.
• Provide technical support to customers.
