Greenergy in Ellesmere Port is seeking a Depot Operations Manager to lead 24/7 haulage operations, focusing on safety, efficiency and customer service. You will oversee resource planning, budgeting, and team leadership while ensuring compliance with SHEQ standards and regulatory requirements.

The role demands hands-on operations experience, strong cost-control skills, and a drive for continuous improvement within a fast-paced fuel logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in depot, transport, or logistics operations management.
• Strong knowledge of SHEQ regulations and compliance.
• Experience managing drivers in a unionised or safety-critical environment.
• ADR and CPC certification (advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Lead depot operations and ensure safety, compliance, and budget adherence.
• Manage scheduling, resource planning, and cost control.
• Develop and lead depot team including drivers.
• Deliver timely, safe fuel deliveries and resolve service issues.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
