Biffa Ltd is hiring a Depot Manager in Atherstone to lead day-to-day operations at the transfer station and packaged goods transport. You will drive safe, compliant, and efficient operations while improving customer service and financial performance.

The role requires experience in hazardous waste, strong leadership, and the ability to develop a team. You will work with regional teams to optimize costs and ensure compliance with environmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 10.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Drive operational excellence and customer service objectives.
• Manage site bookings, resources and OTIF targets.
• Oversee depot financial performance, costs and budgets.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with regional teams on cost optimization.
• Support new projects and future regulatory needs.
• Utilise IT tools for risk assessments and investigations.
