Job summary

Speedy Hire Plc in North Shields is seeking an experienced Depot Manager to lead our busy depot and drive excellent customer service. You will manage the depot team, oversee daily operations and ensure safe, efficient delivery of hire equipment to our customers.

The role offers flexible hours within a 42-hour week (Mon-Fri 07:30-17:00) and a supportive environment with opportunities for career progression and training. A driving licence and knowledge of hire industry are advantageous.

• PC literate and proficient with standard software.
• General knowledge of the construction industry and trades including products.
• Previous experience in the hire process would be an advantage.

Role - Depot Manager

Location - North Shields

Days of work - Mon - Fri, Times 07:30 - 17:00 - 42 hours per week

We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Depot Manager preferably with a background in hire or engineering to manage our busy depot in North Shields.

As a Depot Manager you will ensure that the customer is at the heart of everything we do, you will proactively manage the team, have the independence of running your own depot, drive the business forward and continue to deliver the first class customer service that makes Speedy the best in our sector!

What you'll need
