Summary:

Our client is seeking a commercially driven logistics professional to join their fast-paced business that has a strong customer-centric culture and a multi-skilled, unionised workforce. Taking responsibility for all operational standards within this compliance-led environment, you will ensure that operational efficiencies meet clients' stringent expectations and that all financial targets and KPIs are met. Candidates should hold a CPC qualification, have a good knowledge of H&S, and an IOSH certificate or equivalent is preferred. A strong financial acumen and profit and loss experience are also required.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure all budgets and targets are achieved and KPIs are met.
2. Monitor, manage, and coordinate all depot-based resources.
3. Lead and develop staff.
4. Manage a sizeable, unionised workforce.
5. Manage the profit and loss of the contracts.
6. Deliver first-class customer service and continuous improvement initiatives.
7. Oversee Health and Safety compliance.
8. Lead organisational change, optimise operations, and improve workforce performance.

Experience:
