Job summary

Brandon Hire Station is seeking a General Manager for our Salford depot, part of Vp plc. You will drive operational efficiency, lead a depot team, and ensure profitability while delivering high-quality customer service across the branch.

You will report to the Regional Director and shape strategy at the depot, coaching teams, managing KPIs, and collaborating with sales to maximise revenue and maintain strong safety and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a depot or branch.
• Strong grasp of P&L and cost control.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor financial objectives and profitability at the branch.
• Lead and coach depot team with performance reviews.
• Establish and report on KPI targets for operations.
• Develop systems and processes to drive efficiency and compliance.
