Job summary

Air Products is seeking a PG Operator at our Walkden depot to safely manage depot filling, operate pumps, and handle cylinders with care. You will contribute to quality control, documentation, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced production setting.

Your role requires a strong commitment to safety, accuracy in process documentation, and the ability to work independently while supporting loading and distribution activities.

Qualifications

• Ability to drive Forklift trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Proven operational or engineering experience within a high-safety environment.
• Proactive, can-do attitude with initiative.

Responsibilities

• Safely control depot filling activities including operating electrical motors and pumps.
• Move and connect cylinders to filling points and load onto pallets.
• Support loading operations using a forklift truck.
• Complete process documentation accurately and legibly.
• Analyse incoming and finished products to ensure quality specifications.
• Carry out cylinder inspection, cleaning, painting and labeling as required.
• Maintain safe working practices and report potential hazards.
• Comply with legal, corporate, safety and environmental standards.
