Job summary

Stagecoach Rugby Depot is seeking a practical Buildings Maintenance Person / Vehicle Steam Cleaner to maintain depot facilities and steam-clean our fleet of passenger vehicles. You will perform general repairs, operate cleaning equipment, and help keep a safe, professional environment for staff and customers.

Requirements include prior maintenance or cleaning experience, comfort with hand and power tools, and a focus on safety. Driving licence is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance, facilities management, cleaning or similar practical roles.
• Confident using hand and power tools.
• Experience operating pressure washers or steam cleaning equipment (desirable).
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and work ethic.
• Understand health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general repairs and maintenance to depot buildings and facilities.
• Perform basic plumbing, carpentry, painting and minor electrical tasks.
• Inspect and report defects; maintain exterior areas and depot grounds.
• Steam clean and deep clean PCV vehicles to a high standard; remove dirt and contaminants.
• Safely operate steam cleaning/pressure washing equipment and follow safety procedures.
