Job summary

Generator Power is seeking a Depot Based Service Engineer at our Normanton head office. The role involves servicing generators and plant equipment, fault diagnosis, and maintaining depot operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• GCSE or equivalent required for entry.
• Apprenticeship in Engineering completed.
• City and Guilds Qualifications held.
• Fork Lift Licence desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned service and maintenance on hire fleet and customer equipment.
• Fault location, diagnosis and rectification on equipment.
• Loading and unloading of vehicles.
• Complete paperwork per procedure and ensure asset security.
• Promote teamwork and maintain safe working practices; follow ISO procedures.
