As we scale, we’re looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled Salesforce Deployment Manager to lead and optimize our Salesforce environment, ensuring smooth and secure deployments across our development lifecycle.

Role Overview

As the Salesforce Deployment Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing the deployment of Salesforce changes across environments, ensuring stability, accuracy, and performance. You’ll work closely with Salesforce developers, admins, and cross-functional stakeholders to manage releases, enforce best practices, and ensure continuous improvement of our deployment pipeline. Hands-on experience with Gearset is essential, as it is a core tool in our release management process.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the Salesforce deployment lifecycle across dev, test, staging, and production environments.
• Lead and coordinate all Salesforce release and deployment activities using Gearset.
• Maintain deployment pipelines, version control integrations (e.g. Git), and CI/CD processes.
• Troubleshoot deployment issues and collaborate with developers and admins to resolve conflicts.
• Enforce release governance, change management policies, and quality standards.
• Monitor and report on deployment metrics to optimize performance and reduce risk.
• Develop and maintain documentation for deployment processes and environment strategy.
• Stay current with Salesforce platform updates and DevOps best practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Salesforce environment management or release management.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce metadata types, sandboxes, and version control systems (e.g., GitHub, Bitbucket).
• Experience in B2B SaaS environments and Agile software development cycles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Administrator or Platform Developer certifications.
• Experience with other Salesforce DevOps tools (e.g., Copado, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Flows.
