Job summary

Primark Derby is seeking a Department Manager to lead a store team, drive sales and ensure top-tier customer service. You will manage stock, merchandising and department performance while supporting a dynamic, fast-paced retail environment.

As a department leader, you’ll coach and develop colleagues through digital learning and career pathways, oversee shifts, and collaborate with the wider management team to deliver an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Salary: £42,055 (with 31 days annual leave & pension)
Contract: Full-Time Permanent, 5 days out of 7

What you’ll do

• Collaborate with the rest of the management team to support the daily running of the store.
• Responsible for at least one department within the store, including stock ordering and merchandising.
• Lead a team of managers to maximise sales by establishing goals and objectives.
• Provide a superior level of customer service.
• Drive your own development by taking advantage of our digital learning, apprenticeships and career pathways and see yourself grow in a supportive place powered by our people.
• In the absence of senior management, you will oversee the store for the shift.
