Job summary

The University of Suffolk Dental CIC is inviting a qualified dentist to join its NHS dental service at Ipswich, delivering high‑quality care within a supportive multi‑disciplinary team.

You will provide the full range of dental treatments, support student placements, and contribute to training on University courses, helping sustain accessible, preventative care in the community. The role requires active involvement in clinical governance, audits, and safeguarding responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Essential: Post-graduate clinical experience; experience of clinical audit; knowledge of NHS dental services; commitment to continuing education; understanding health and safety; governance knowledge; awareness of England's dental regulation.
• Desirable: Teaching/training experience; leadership in community/salaried care; experience with GA/IV sedation.

Responsibilities

• Undertake thorough examination and assessment of adults and children.
• Undertake diagnosis, select periodontal techniques and deliver periodontal care.
• Participate in training and continuing education.
