Job summary

Rodericks Dental Partners in Worcester is seeking a qualified Dental Nurse to join our team. You will assist dentists, prepare instruments, and support patients with a friendly, reassuring approach in a busy clinic.

We value professional development, teamwork, and high standards of infection control. Monday availability is required for a flexible, 0-hour/part-time role at Worcester Dental.

Qualifications

• GDC-registered dental nurse is essential.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Comfortable in a clinical setting with potential blood/surgical procedures.
• Able to work Monday availability in a 0-hour/part-time pattern.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during a wide range of clinical procedures.
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment and materials.
• Uphold infection control and surgery cleanliness standards.
• Provide reassurance and support to patients throughout visits.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with admin tasks.
• Promote oral health and advise on dental care products.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assist dentists during a wide range of clinical procedures
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials
• Uphold high standards of infection control and surgery cleanliness
• Provide reassurance and support to patients throughout their visit
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage administrative tasks
• Promote and advise patients on oral health and dental care products
• Play an important role in creating a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for patients and the team

• Qualified and GDC-registered Dental Nurse
• Confident and professional communication skills
