Job summary

Rodericks Dental Partners is seeking a qualified Dental Nurse for a 22‑hour, 12‑month maternity cover position in Birmingham. You will assist dentists, prepare instruments, and maintain strict infection control while supporting a caring patient experience.

• Receptionist with 20 years’ service
• Senior Dentist with 30+ years’ experience
• Owner clinician with 15 years’ experience; other clinicians 6–8 years
• Services: Implants, Invisalign, composite bonding, minor oral surgery (MOS)
• Practice located 1 minute walk from vibrant Harborne village centre, a very affluent area

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assist dentists during a wide range of clinical procedures
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials
• Uphold high standards of infection control and surgery cleanliness
• Provide reassurance and support to patients throughout their visit
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage administrative tasks
• Promote and advise patients on oral health and dental care products
• Play an important role in creating a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for patients and the team
