Job summary

Skills 4 Pharmacy is offering an entry-level Dental Nurse apprenticeship in a welcoming private practice. From day one you’ll work with qualified dental professionals, gain hands-on experience across dental nursing, and build confidence toward becoming a fully qualified Dental Nurse.

You’ll be supported with full training, learn essential patient care, infection control, and record keeping in a patient-facing role. A positive attitude and reliability are valued in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• No dental experience required; training and support provided to become a qualified Dental Nurse.
• GCSEs in Maths and English (A-C) or equivalent expected for potential apprentices.
• Opportunity to train and develop through private practice environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists and clinicians during treatments and procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure equipment is ready for use.
• Maintain infection control standards: cleaning, sterilising, and instrument care.
• Update patient records using computer-based systems.
• Support appointment flow and general practice operations.
