Job summary

Dentalcare Group is seeking an Apprentice Dental Nurse to join our friendly team. This entry-level role offers full training toward a recognized dental nursing qualification and GDC registration, with hands-on experience alongside clinicians.

You will support dental clinicians, prepare rooms, maintain records, and assist with NHS and private treatments while developing communication and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and commit to completing the dental nursing qualification.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists and hygienists during NHS and private treatments.
• Prepare and maintain clinical rooms per infection control standards.
• Decontaminate instruments and manage cross-infection protocols.
• Support patient care before, during and after treatment.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support reception duties, including patient communication and appointments.
• Participate in training and coursework as part of your apprenticeship programme.
