Job summary

PortmanDentex's Truro clinic is seeking a qualified Dental Nurse to join the 4-surgery orthodontic team, supporting NHS and private patients.

You will work on a friendly, modern site with opportunities to develop within a nurse-led environment, and training will be provided for orthodontic specifics.

Qualifications

• A recognised Dental Nursing qualification and active GDC registration.
• Caring and empathetic approach with strong communication skills.
• Team player who thrives on providing great service and building relationships with colleagues and patients.
• Orthodontic experience is helpful but not essential – full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 4-surgery orthodontic practice and support specialists.
• Assist orthodontists and therapists in patient care.
• Deliver care within nurse-led clinics and within scope of practice.
• Coordinate with the team to maintain smooth clinic operations.

• Typical shifts:Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 0800-1700 (ad hoc holiday/sickness/ Saturday cover)
• Competitive hourly rate from: £13.70
• 4-surgery, specialist Orthodontic practice,caring for both NHS and private patients
• Modern and well-equipped surgeries,working alongside Specialist Orthodontists and Therapists
• Opportunity to work independently within ournurse-led clinics, and fully within your scope of practice
• Parking available

About you
