PortmanDentex is actively seeking a Qualified Dental Nurse to join our friendly team at Preston - Waterside Dental Clinic in Preston. The role is a maternity cover on a fixed-term contract, with hours: Mondays to Thursdays 8.30am–5.30pm and Fridays 8.30am–2.30pm.

You will be a GDC-registered Dental Nurse delivering high‑quality chair-side support, working within nurse-led clinics and within your scope of practice.

Qualifications

• Recognition of a Dental Nursing qualification and active GDC registration.
• Demonstrates caring, empathetic approach and strong communication skills.
• A team player who thrives on providing great service and building relationships with colleagues and patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair-side assistance and support in a 3-surgery practice.
• Work independently within nurse-led clinics and within your scope of practice.
• Deliver high standards of patient care and infection control.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Dental Nurse to join our friendly & experienced team at Waterside Dental Clinic at Preston.

The essentials:

• Mondays - Thursdays 8.30am - 5.30pm and Fridays 8.30am - 2.30pm
• Competitive hourly rate:£14per hour (in line with experience)
• 3-surgery fully private practice
• Opportunity to work independently within ournurse-led clinics, and fully within your scope of practice
• Free parking locally

Please note this is a maternity cover role on a fixed term contract initially until February / June 2027
