Three Towns Saltcoats Dental Care – Part of Clyde Munro Group in Saltcoats is seeking a Dental Nurse to join our friendly team for a full-time role with late finish on Tuesdays.

You will provide chair-side support, maintain patient records, and help ensure efficient daily operations while complying with health and safety guidance.

We welcome GDC-registered nurses or trainees, with experience in NHS/private practices beneficial and a strong commitment to patient care.

Qualifications

• GDC registration or training in progress for trainees
• Experience in NHS/private dental settings is beneficial

Responsibilities

• Provide chair-side support across daily practice activities
• Maintain accurate patient records using Software of Excellence
• Set up surgeries to maximise efficiency for each session
• Anticipate clinician and patient needs and ensure necessary materials are ready
• Monitor stock levels and assist with stock management
• Undertake reception duties when required (phone, appointments, charges)

We are excited to be recruiting a Dental Nurse to join our friendly and welcoming team at Three Towns Saltcoats Dental Care! This is a full time role with a late finish on Tuesdays until 7pm.

Three Towns Saltcoats Dental Care is a family-oriented practice with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality dental care to both NHS and private patients. Our highly qualified and supportive team is committed to patient health and wellbeing, providing a caring, professional service to the North Ayrshire community. Your Role

You will be responsible for providing chair side support in all day-to-day activities within the practice and surgeries. You will play an important role in a ensuring the delivery of excellent patient care while complying with all clinical and health & safety guidance.

Other duties include –

• Creating a welcoming environment for patients that sets them at ease from the outset

• Maximising the use of the internal system (Software of Excellence) to ensure accurate patient records are maintained

• Ensuring the surgery is set up appropriately for each session throughout the day to maximise the efficiency of the practice and surgery utilisation

• Anticipating the requirements of the clinician and patient in advance of their session and ensure necessary lab work and equipment is in place

• Monitoring surgery stocks to ensure that appropriate stock levels are maintained

• Undertaking reception duties when required including answering the telephone, making appointments and collecting patient charges

About You

• Qualified nurses must be GDC registered (full training provided for trainees)

• Experience working in Private / NHS practices is beneficial

• Willing to demonstrate the highest levels of patient care

• The ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team

• Enthusiastic, with an appetite to learn and develop new skills
