Join our Team!

We are excited to be recruiting a Dental Nurse to join our team at Paisley Orthodontics, working 4 days per week.

The practice has been serving the community for many years in a friendly and relaxed environment. We provide a comprehensive range of NHS and private orthodontic treatments, from traditional braces to Invisalign. The practice is conveniently located in Paisley, just outside the town centre, with ample on-street parking and bus stops within walking distance.

Your Role

You will be responsible for providing chair-side support in all day-to-day activities within the practice and surgeries. You will play an important role in ensuring the delivery of excellent patient care while complying with all clinical and health & safety guidelines.

Other duties include:

  1. Creating a welcoming environment for patients that sets them at ease from the outset
  2. Maximising the use of the internal system (Software of Excellence) to ensure accurate patient records are maintained
  3. Ensuring the surgery is set up appropriately for each session to maximise efficiency and utilisation
  4. Anticipating the requirements of the clinician and patient in advance of their session and ensuring necessary lab work and equipment are in place
  5. Monitoring surgery stocks to maintain appropriate stock levels
  6. Undertaking reception duties when required, including answering the telephone, making appointments, and collecting patient charges

About You

  • Must be GDC registered
  • Must have experience working in Private / NHS practice
  • Previous orthodontic experience is beneficial
  • Willing to demonstrate the highest levels of patient care
  • The ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Enthusiastic, with an appetite to learn and develop new skills
  • Radiography qualification preferred
