The Role:

Join our friendly team and play a key role in our small but dynamic practice. You'll assist in a wide range of treatments, including:

• Surgical extractions
• Cosmetic dentistry (veneers, etc.)
• Crucially, you'll also be responsible for completing audits and checklists to ensure our compliance with CQC guidelines.

Responsibilities:

As a Dental Nurse, you will:

• Provide chair-side assistance during a variety of bespoke and general treatments, including instrument set-up per appointment.
• Maintain the surgery to the highest standards of cleanliness and infection prevention control.
• Sterilise instruments and equipment.
• Ensure patient comfort and well-being, making sure the patient is well looked after throighout their visit
• Take ownership of completing CQC-required audits and checklists.

Assist with administrative tasks,

• occasionally offering assistance in other areas of the practice such as phone queries and patient scheduling.

Who We're Looking For:

We are looking for a highly experienced and qualified Dental Nurse. The ideal candidate will have:

• A valid Dental Nurse qualification and GDC registration.
• A proactive attitude, with a strong desire to learn, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work effectively in a small, dedicated team.
• A commitment to high standards of patient care and confidentiality.
• A meticulous approach to hygiene and infection control.
• Strong organisational skills and diligence for CQC compliance.
• The ability to work well under pressure and respond to patient needs with speed and efficiency.
• Anticipates needs, exercises initiative and makes logical decisions with minimal supervision.
