Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking a part-time Dental Procurement Administrative Officer in Montfield Dental Health Centre, Lerwick, Shetland. You will support routine procurement, stock handling and vehicle duties, ensuring safe and effective dental services across NHS Shetland.

You will deliver instruments, equipment and documentation between clinics and LDU/CDU. The role requires a full UK driving licence, understanding of infection control, and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• You must hold a Full UK driving licence.
• Understanding of infection control and warehouse/stock controlled environment.
• Ability to prioritise effectively, have good communication skills, be physically fit and well organised, enthusiastic and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Undertake routine procurement, stock handling and vehicle-related duties per procedures and policies.
• Provide operational administrative, logistical and transport support to the Public Dental Service.
• Collect and deliver dental instruments, equipment, materials and documentation between dental clinics, LDU and CDU.
