Job summary

Dental Beauty Orthodontics in Sutton seeks a skilled Dental Hygienist for 2nd and 4th Saturdays each month, 8.20AM-3PM. Newly acquired, reputable practice with modern facilities and a supportive clinical team.

Must hold GDC registration, be able to work independently (no chairside nursing), and have Hep B immunisations with clear DBS. Dentally software experience is a bonus. Competitive 35% remuneration and training opportunities available.

Qualifications

• GDC registration is essential; ideally with 2+ years' UK experience.
• Ability to work independently without chairside nursing support.
• Valid Hep B immunisations and clear DBS.
• Full indemnity cover is required.
• Dentally software experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out high-quality dental hygiene treatment under the prescription of an Associate/Specialist.
• Offer a variety of treatments within your scope of practice.
• Follow practice policies and procedures in line with GDC guidelines.
• Ensure professional indemnity and CPD are in place.
• Promote and maintain productive relationships with the dental team.

2nd & 4th Saturdays of the month available

Dental Beauty Partners are excited to be opening a search for an experienced Dental Hygienist to join us here at our newly acquired site with Dental Beauty Orthodontics, in Sutton. Our practice is well established & highly reputable, led by our experienced Partner. Dr Devayani Arya.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an experienced clinical team in delivering a high quality treatment journey to our patients. We are looking for a dedicated & forward-thinking hygienist who is able to build good relationships with patients. You will have access to high quality equipment & materials, and work within a supportive environment in a fresh and modern surgery.

Working Hours: We have availability on the 2nd & 4th Saturdays of each month, 8.20AM-3PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out a high-quality dental hygiene treatment under the prescription of an Associate/Specialist in line with current legislation and regulations
• Offering a variety treatment within your scope of practice
• Following practice policies & procedures at all times in line with GDC guidelines
• Ensure that the required professional indemnity and insurance are in place and that all necessary CPD is undertaken
• Promote, establish and maintain productive working relationships with all members of the dental team

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Valid GDC registration - ideally with 2 years' experience working as a hygienist in the UK
• The successful candidate must be able to work independently without chairside nursing support as we are unable to provide this as part of the position
• Valid Immunisations (Hep B)
• Clear DBS certificate (we can support with this if required) & full indemnity cover
• Able to deliver a fantastic patient journey & ensure our patients have a positive experience in practice
• Dentally software experience would be advantageous but not essential
