Job description

We're looking for a registered dental hygienist to join our growing team! You’ll complete initial patient screenings, conduct dental cleanings, and assist dentists with examinations and procedures. Responsibilities

1. Inform patients of all ages about proper oral hygiene, including brushing and flossing regularly.
2. Disinfect all dental instruments to prevent cross-contamination.
3. Use x-ray machines to take images of patients’ teeth for diagnosis of cavities and other issues.
4. Protect patients’ teeth by thoroughly cleaning and applying fluoride or sealants.
5. Put patients at ease by engaging with them before, during, and after appointments.

Qualifications

• Both experienced and new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of dental safety and HIPAA regulations.
• Current CPR certification.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Associate’s degree and certification in dental hygiene are required; higher education levels are highly valued.

Compensation

$62 hourly DOE
