Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 7 Tutor Dental Hygienist and Therapist for up to 30 hours per week. • Teaching and assessment of dental hygiene and therapy knowledge and clinical skills.
• Ability to deliver teaching in lectures, workshops, tutorials and small groups.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate learning and teach the knowledge and clinical skills required by students of dental hygiene and therapy.
• Advise, demonstrate and instruct on the dental clinic and clinical simulation suite; oversee care provided by students when treating patients.
• Deliver teaching in various formats including lectures, workshops, tutorials and small group teaching.
• Act as personal tutor to designated students, counselling on academic progress and performance, and offering pastoral support.
• Monitor students with academic or clinical weaknesses, providing empathy and reassurance.
