Job summary

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Band 2 Dental Clinical Support Worker to join the Leeds Dental Institute. The role supports the dental team, students and clinicians, assisting with clinic upkeep, decontamination, stock and equipment in sterile stores and clinical areas.

You will work Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with training provided. The post is full-time (37.5 hours) or part-time considered; emphasis on safe, high-quality care in a busy teaching environment.

Qualifications

• Experience is not essential; training will be provided.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in dental clinics and sterile instrument store.
• Support dental students, dental nurses and clinicians with daily clinic activities.
• Assist in decontamination of clinical equipment and restocking of supplies.
• Complete daily documentation in compliance with local codes and safety standards.
