Job summary

Henry Schein, Inc. is partnering with a new independent, family-run private dental practice in Barnstaple, Devon. We seek an enthusiastic clinician passionate about high standards, with or without specialties, to start ASAP. The role is 3 days per week in a patient-centred team.

You will work in a newly refurbished six-surgery facility with modern equipment, offering clinical support and ongoing CPD learning. Excellent patient footfall and a welcoming environment are provided.

Qualifications

• GDC Registration is required.
• Indemnity Insurance is required.
• Fluent English is required.
• Authorisation to work in the UK is required.
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy related to dental health.
• Excellent communication skills with patients.
• Ability to work well in a team and be self-motivated.
• Committed to ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Taking patients medical histories
• Diagnosing and providing appropriate dental treatment including regular cleaning, root canals, surgical extractions, and cosmetic dentistry
• Referring patients for surgery or orthodontic work
• Scanning of patients teeth and preparing prosthetics such as crowns and plates
• Maintaining accurate patient records and details of consultations
• Keeping up with best practices, new technologies and innovations in the field of dentistry
• Performing training
