Smiths (Gloucester) Ltd is seeking hardworking and reliable Demolition Operatives to join our team across the South West and Wales. You'll contribute to safe site strip-outs, demolition works and site clearance activities, delivering projects on schedule.

Whether you are experienced or starting your career in the industry, we offer a permanent contract, 7:00am-16:00pm, and a full benefits package including a company van, PPE and training opportunities.

Competenze

• A valid CSCS card is required, support can be provided to help the right candidate obtain one.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• A strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.

Mansioni

• Assisting with soft strip, demolition and site clearance works.
• Operating hand tools and demolition equipment safely.
• Segregating and managing waste materials for recycling and disposal.
• Maintaining high standards of site housekeeping.
• Supporting site set-up, fencing, signage and barriers.
• Following site instructions and safe systems of work.
• Reporting hazards, near misses and unsafe conditions.

With depots in Avonmouth, Cardiff, Gloucester, Stonehouse and Tewkesbury we operate predominately across the South-West of England. We specialise in Construction, Waste Management, Plant Hire, Demolition and Transport operations.
