Job summary

We are a 5-star luxury lifestyle boutique hotel located in Chelsea, housed in a 19th-century building near Sloane Square. The Demi Chef de Partie will support the Chef de Partie to maintain the highest standards across Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner services.

You will manage mise en place, assist with stock, and help develop junior kitchen team members in a busy luxury setting. The role offers a competitive salary and comprehensive staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef in a luxury hotel/restaurant.
• Good knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
• Food Safety qualification and culinary training or equivalent.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Support the Chef de Partie in day-to-day kitchen operations and maintain high standards.
• Prepare and cook breakfast, lunch and dinner, including in-room dining.
• Maintain mise en place, follow recipes and portion control guidelines.
• Assist with stock, deliveries and report shortages.
• Guide Commis Chefs and foster a positive kitchen environment.
• Ensure correct labeling, dating, storage and hygiene.
