Job summary

Oaklea Dementia Care Unit, part of Willinbrook Healthcare, seeks a dedicated Care Assistant to support residents with dementia and complex needs. You will follow care plans, promote dignity, independence and wellbeing in a structured, person-centred environment.

This hands-on role requires patience, resilience and teamwork. PVG scheme, pension, uniform and onsite parking are provided; 5.6 weeks annual leave pro rata.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or mental health is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with complex needs, including advanced dementia.
• Follow individual care plans and structured routines to promote dignity and wellbeing.
• Provide safe, consistent, person-centred care and build positive relationships with residents.
