Job Description:

NHS Forth Valley is one of 14 regional health boards in Scotland, serving nearly 306,000 people across Clackmannanshire, Stirling, and Falkirk. We provide primary, community, and acute hospital services, collaborating with local authorities, universities, and colleges.

We are seeking an engaging and inspiring professional to join NHS Forth Valley as a Dementia, Delirium Consultant Nurse/AHP. The post-holder will lead, strategize, and consult on care for people with Dementia and/or Delirium across NHS Forth Valley and its partnerships, working across boundaries with service users, carers, health professionals, social workers, third sector staff, care homes, and educational providers.

Candidates must have:

  • Registered Mental Nurse/Allied Health Professional qualification with current NMC registration
  • Master’s degree or equivalent
  • Extensive clinical experience in caring for Older Adults with Dementia and Delirium
  • Experience in assessment and management of Dementia and Delirium
  • Experience in practice and service development
  • Experience in teaching and education
  • Leadership experience including operational management
  • Expertise in professional leadership, practice, strategic planning, education, and research
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, guidelines, and strategies
