Rushcliffe Care Group seeks a dedicated Support Worker for Aarons Specialist Unit at Epinal Way Care Centre, Loughborough. You will deliver person-centred care, assist with daily activities, and support residents with dignity and comfort in a nurse-led dementia setting.

The role involves a 34.5-hour week on a shift rota including weekends; DBS check is required and funded by the employer. This is a permanent, full-time position based at Aarons Specialist Unit, LE11 3GD.

Qualifications

• Care basics and safe working practices understood or willing to develop.
• Ability to follow instructions, work as part of a team, and support others to maintain standards.
• Reliability, organisation, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Promote dignity and independence of service users.
• Assist with daily activities such as personal care and meals.
• Encourage social interactions and activities to create engagement.
• Provide emotional support through active listening and 1-to-1 activities.
• Maintain accurate care documentation and report changes in needs.
• Adhere to health and safety and maintain a clean environment.
• Complete Care Certificate during probationary period.
