Job summary

West Northamptonshire Council is seeking a part-time Care and Support Worker for Longlands Care Home in Daventry. You will help residents with daily living, encourage independence and provide person-centred care in a warm, safe environment.

Role offers flexible hours (20, 30, or 36 per week) with shifts 7:45am–8:15pm, including alternate weekends; comprehensive training and development are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in a care setting is desirable.
• Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays.
• Committed to delivering person-centred care with dignity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents, promoting independence and wellbeing.
• Support residents with daily routines: personal care, mobility, mealtimes, and activities.
• Build positive relationships with residents and families; monitor wellbeing and safety.
• Work as part of a team with ongoing training and development opportunities.
